About Dr. Katherine Magnuson, PsyD.
Dr. Katherine Magnuson is a licensed psychologist with specialized training in pediatric, health, and clinical psychology. She specializes in comprehensive autism evaluations for toddlers and young children, helping families gain clear, accurate diagnoses and meaningful next steps.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Barnard College and completed her graduate training at Baylor University, where she received both her Master of Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology through an APA-accredited program.
Dr. Magnuson completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and served as a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where she provided psychological services to children and young adults with complex medical and developmental needs.
Throughout her training and career, Dr. Magnuson has provided clinical care and diagnostic evaluations across a range of settings, including academic medical centers, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, community clinics, and state agencies. Her approach is thoughtful, individualized, and focused on providing families with clear answers, practical recommendations, and timely results.
She currently provides autism evaluations in Dallas, Richardson, Southlake, Coppell, and across the DFW area, with virtual appointments available throughout Texas.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, and baking.
