Academic and cognitive evaluations are comprehensive assessments designed to better understand a child’s learning profile, cognitive strengths, executive functioning, and academic performance. Depending on the referral question, evaluations may explore areas such as:

- Phonological processing and reading-related skills

- Emotional and behavioral functioning

Please note that some academic, cognitive, gifted, or psychoeducational testing services may not be covered by insurance and may be offered as private pay services depending on the referral concern and insurance plan.
